The Alpha Insights Alternative
Alpha Insights is a self-hosted WooCommerce BI plugin with COGS, expenses, and ad sync. CostRadar is a cloud Profitability OS (AI, MCP, multi-store Pulse) — we do not mirror Alpha as an on-prem WordPress analytics plugin; Woo connects via cloud REST + CostRadar Connector pairing.
Alpha Insights WooCommerce plugin from $19/mo or $79/yr. Compare with CostRadar cloud Profitability OS — free plan, AI, multi-store Pulse, Shopify, Amazon, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Allegro & eBay.
Where CostRadar differs

Alpha Insights plugin vs CostRadar cloud?
Alpha Insights keeps data in WordPress — good for Woo-only, budget-conscious stores that want self-hosted BI. CostRadar intentionally does not ship an Alpha-style on-prem analytics plugin. We are a cloud Profitability OS for multi-store AI, Shopify+Woo+Amazon+BigCommerce, MCP, and order-level P&L with configurable payment gateway fees — without hosting plugin overhead.
Is the CostRadar Connector the same as Alpha Insights?
No. CostRadar Connector is a lightweight WordPress pairing plugin for secure cloud sync (REST + webhooks). It is not a self-hosted BI / report builder that runs analytics inside WordPress. Alpha Insights is the peer for that privacy niche; CostRadar keeps profit math in the cloud.
Does CostRadar track WooCommerce payment gateway fees like Alpha?
Yes. CostRadar applies a per-shop gateway rate table (defaults 2.9%+$0.30 Stripe-like) on Woo and BigCommerce order sync so allocated fees and net profit match Amazon’s order P&L shape. Configure rates under Settings → Stores → Gateway fees.
