Questions merchants ask
The same answers as the product documentation, on their own page.
Is my data secure?
Yes! We use industry-standard encryption (AES-256) for data at rest and TLS 1.3 for data in transit. We're GDPR and CCPA compliant. Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies.
Can I export my data?
Absolutely! You can export your data anytime from Settings → Data Export. We provide CSV and JSON formats. There's no lock-in - your data is always yours.
Do you have a mobile app?
CostRadar.ai is installable as a Progressive Web App (PWA) — add it to your home screen for a one-tap Today's Net profit glance, plus the full responsive dashboard in your phone/tablet browser and as a Shopify embedded app on mobile. We do not currently publish separate native iOS/Android App Store apps.
What does Profit Agent do?
It tells you what you kept, from the fees, ads, apps, product cost, and margin already in CostRadar. Ask in the app or in Slack. Weekday mornings: true net, revenue, orders, and one leak. You confirm before a recurring cost is flagged or a fee or shipping rule opens. With more than one store, the morning can cover each one. Ask what-if on shipping and see the number before anything is written. A small note you allowed can be marked done; that never ends a cost by itself. CostRadar does not pause ads or change bids.
How does AI Insights work?
AI Insights uses advanced OpenAI models to analyze your entire cost dataset. It detects duplicate services, identifies annual billing opportunities, suggests plan optimizations, and flags unused subscriptions. Each insight includes specific savings calculations and action steps.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
If you cancel, you're automatically downgraded to the Free plan at the end of your billing period. You keep all your data, but lose access to paid features (Historical trends, AI Insights, etc.).
How accurate is the cost tracking?
Manual costs are as accurate as you make them. Store auto-sync data is pulled directly from connected platform APIs and sync jobs where available. We recommend reviewing auto-synced costs monthly to ensure accuracy.
What's the difference between Advanced and Premium?
Advanced ($29.99/mo) adds unlimited orders, full history, 5 custom fields, CSV export, Zapier integration (8,500+ apps), automated COGS, dashboard customization, and 20 reports — for 1 store. Premium ($49.99/mo) adds AI optimization, AI Profit Agent, Multi-Store management with Pulse, and unlimited custom fields.
What are the order sync limits?
Free plan: 100 orders/month. Advanced & Premium: Unlimited orders. When you reach your monthly limit, you'll need to upgrade to continue syncing. The limit resets on the 1st of each month.
Can I access historical data on Free plan?
Free plan shows the last 7 days of order and cost history (Orders, Metrics). The dashboard default period may show a wider window for trend context. Upgrade to Advanced or Premium for unlimited history — your data is never deleted, only gated by plan.
Can I track costs from multiple stores?
Free and Advanced plans support 1 connected store. Premium supports unlimited Shopify, Amazon, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Allegro, and eBay stores. You can always add costs from other sources manually.
How do I connect Amazon?
Go to Settings → Stores → Amazon, pick a marketplace (1 shop = 1 marketplace), then complete Seller Central OAuth consent. CostRadar syncs orders, line-item discounts, Amazon fee totals on orders (plus FeeType breakdown when you expand an order), Catalog/Listings product enrich, and FBA stock (including reserved/inbound). Open Settlements to reconcile Financial Event Groups, and Reimbursements to detect findings, prepare assisted claim drafts (copy + Seller Central deep link), and track status. Sync Now also pulls settlements for Amazon shops. CostRadar prepares drafts — you submit in Seller Central; it does not auto-file reimbursement cases. There are 23 SP-API marketplaces across NA, EU, and FE.
How do I connect Allegro?
Go to Settings → Stores → Allegro and complete OAuth 2 + PKCE (Amazon analog). CostRadar creates shops.platform = allegro — not an add-on on another store. Allegro is not listed in Ads, Costs, or Automations — connect only from Stores. Wave 4 syncs orders, refunds, commission/payment fees, offer-id COGS, and Ads billing (NSP) into True Net Profit. Settlements on an Allegro shop shows billed marketplace fees and Ads charges — not campaign stats. CostRadar does not edit listings, change bids, or create shipments. Callback stays https://costradar.ai/integrations/allegro/callback.
How do I connect eBay?
Go to Settings → Stores → eBay (not the Integrations gallery) and complete eBay OAuth. CostRadar creates shops.platform = ebay — a first-class sales channel, not CSV tags on another shop. Wave 5 syncs Sell Fulfillment orders, buyer refunds (paymentSummary / Finances REFUND, plus Post-Order completed refunds on known orders → refunded_amount, net revenue), order-linked Sell Finances marketplace fees (final value, insertion, eBay-purchased shipping labels), listing/SKU identity for Product Costs (Fulfillment plus Inventory REST when sell.inventory.readonly is granted — merchant sets COGS), and Promoted Listings billed charges (Finances AD_FEE → marketing spend, not campaign stats). Campaign GET is names/status/budget metadata only. Event sync is Fulfillment lastModifiedDate polling; Commerce Notification API destination/challenge is implemented but live push needs EBAY_NOTIFICATION_VERIFICATION_TOKEN and portal registration. Payouts on Settlements are transfers of already-netted funds, not extra costs. CostRadar does not list, revise, or fulfill on eBay. Callback stays https://costradar.ai/integrations/ebay/callback. RuName in the eBay developer portal must point at that URL.
Does CostRadar auto-file Amazon reimbursement claims?
No. CostRadar prepares an assisted claim draft (narrative, evidence, confidence, claim-window countdown) and a Seller Central deep link. You review accuracy, copy the draft, open Seller Central yourself, and submit. There is no silent auto-submit, no Seller Central bot, and no SP-API create-case call. Quality gates warn on duplicate-claim risk, expired windows, and low-confidence / false-positive findings you can suppress.
What is a 60-day reimbursement alert?
Inbound shortage and customer-return-not-restocked findings typically expire in about 60 days. CostRadar banners claimable rows with ≤60 days left and offers a 60-day alerts filter on /app/reimbursements. Detection also reads extra Finances lists (fees, retrocharges, removals) and a refund-gap heuristic — not GET_FBA_REIMBURSEMENTS_DATA until Amazon Fulfillment + Pricing roles are granted. Drafts are still assisted: you submit in Seller Central. This is not silent auto-file.
Does WooCommerce support realtime order updates?
Yes. CostRadar Connector registers order.created / order.updated webhooks (HMAC-verified). Cron sync remains the fallback. Use Read/Write REST API keys when registering webhooks via the API; Read-only still works for scheduled pull.
How do integrations work?
Stores connect natively from Settings → Stores: Shopify (OAuth), Amazon Seller Central (SP-API OAuth), WooCommerce (secure pairing), BigCommerce (OAuth authorize once the Marketplace app is approved, or store hash + API access token today), Allegro (OAuth 2 + PKCE) as shops.platform = allegro, and eBay (Sell APIs OAuth) as shops.platform = ebay — Stores-only. Allegro and eBay are not listed in Ads, Costs, or Automations. Allegro Wave 4 syncs orders, refunds, commission/payment fees, offer-id COGS, and Ads billing into True Net Profit (Settlements browse; not listing edits or bid bots). eBay Wave 5 syncs orders, buyer refunds (including Post-Order completed cash on known orders), order-linked final value/insertion/shipping-label fees, listing/SKU COGS identity (Inventory REST when scoped), and Promoted Listings billed charges (Finances AD_FEE, not campaign stats); campaign GET is metadata only; event sync is lastModifiedDate polling (Notification destination is opt-in); payouts on Settlements are transfers, not extra costs. CSV channel can still import eBay/Walmart rows onto another connected shop. Marketing platforms (Meta, Google, Klaviyo, TikTok Ads, Pinterest, Snapchat, Amazon Ads) connect natively under Settings → Integrations → Platforms. QuickBooks, Xero, ShipStation, and Sendcloud use native OAuth in the Integration Gallery; ShipBob uses a personal access token today; wFirma is the primary PL/EU expense sync. Zapier is available for other apps (Slack, Google Sheets, and 8,500+ more). Amazon Ads Connect uses the Advertising API (approved Aug 2026) when stack LWA is configured; Partner Network agency listing may still be separate. Outbound Meta CAPI is not shipped.
Does CostRadar include built-in email marketing or a BI warehouse?
No. CostRadar is a Profitability OS. Email & SMS automation stay in Klaviyo (we sync estimated marketing costs); broader workflows use Zapier. We do not ship an in-app ESP like Metorik Engage, a Glew-style 250-KPI commerce BI / Looker lite, Amazon review autoresponders, or a self-hosted WordPress analytics plugin. WooCommerce connects via cloud REST + the CostRadar Connector pairing plugin — not an on-prem BI mirror.
Do you have CJ Dropshipping or Printful connectors?
No native CJ or Printful connectors (P2.1 volume gate = NO-GO). Set product COGS via Product Costs rules, CSV import, or Zapier Create/Update Cost — order profitability still uses the same COGS resolver. TrueProfit/Profitario win on those dropship apps; CostRadar wins on multi-platform Cost OS + flat pricing.
Do I need to pay for Zapier separately?
Only if you use Zapier for apps beyond native connectors. Zapier offers a free tier with 100 tasks per month. Paid Zapier plans are separate from your CostRadar.ai subscription. Native OAuth integrations (QuickBooks, Xero, ShipStation, Sendcloud, marketing platforms) do not require Zapier. ShipBob uses a personal access token; wFirma uses an access key.
Is CostRadar.ai accessible for users with disabilities?
Yes! We're committed to WCAG 2.1 AA compliance. All text meets minimum contrast ratios (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text), full keyboard navigation is supported, screen readers work properly, and all interactive elements have proper ARIA labels.
